Here ya go, more of Natalya's photos! :D
It's been a while since I last updated my blog. As my New Year's resolution, I will start fixing and updating this site regularly. For now I'll leave you with Natalya. Here ya go, more of Natalya's photos! :D Add Comment One of the best shoot's I've been to...Specially since I was left alone shooting Marija. I really need to start shooting alone, I get more keepers and more fun working with the model. Here's more photos of Marija. :) Just my second male model shoot. I'm finding it easier to shoot male models, but they are hard to come by. For more pics of Thiago, click here. This morning there was a massive gathering of Filipino Photographers in Singapore. There were at least 5 photography groups represented and all were shooting for a common goal, to raise funds and provide much needed help for the victims of typhoon Sendong in CDO and Iligan City. It's too bad the weather did not cooperate, but rest assured despite all the rain everyone had fun participating in this shoot. Which brings me to the reason why I shot all my pictures in mono. Sure I had fun during the photoshoot, but at the back of my mind the horrors brought about by typhoon Sendong to the countless victims is anything but fun. Hence I decided to shoot in mono, to bring out a much stronger emotion and feel to my photos, just to remind myself why I was participating in the event despite the rain. The sfac sure was a success but realistically speaking, the people of CDO and Iligan needs more help. So if anyone reading this and generous enough to help out people in need, please visit this link for your donations. Lastly, please pray for these people, they need a lot of help, and our prayers can help ease their pain. For more of my sfac photos, click here. My last photoshoot of 2011, and what better way to end the year but with a bang. Paulina here is just absolutely gorgeous. As I look to improve on my skills, it's essential that I pick up on what looks good and what does not look good when shooting a model. I've been lucky enough to have been able to work with grogeous models ike Paulina, still I must learn to bring out the best in my models. Something I have to admit, I'm not good at yet. For more photos of Paulina, click here. My first male model shoot. Turns out, it was a lot easier than female model shoots as poses are simple and the model was easy to talk to. It's not in any way perfect but I could use more practice, if only male models are abundant here in Singapore. More of Ayrton's photos here. Credits: Model: Ayrton Lighintg: Milan My first time working with a clothing designer and I'm glad I did. XJ's design are really fantastic, and our model Victoria, really is up to the challenge. Which reminds me, Victoria and Maria seems to be the most popular model names nowadays. :) As always Milan did a fantastic job on the lighting and Shaunne's hair and makeup are really good as well. TO view more of Victoria's photos, go here. Been trying out a new style lately. I got the inspiration from a perfume advertisement and I decided to replicate that in my photo, and here's the result. Model's name is Mariya and she's from Kazakstan. Our HMUA is the lovely Myca, and as always Milan did the light setup and he doubles as the stylist. I posted this photo in a number of photography forums, and I've been getting mixed results. Howell back to the drawing board I guess. :) Check out more normal pics of Mariya. Nom Nom my current favorite word from my current favorite model, Nansi Sanya! :) We have only organized Nansi twice, but it was so much fun working with her, I wish we can organize another shoot for her...hopefully soon before she leaves SG again. Nansi has been a very popular model here in Singapore for quite sometime now and JC has been trying to organize a shoot for her in vain. Then finally we met Jenny, Nansi's roomate. We organized a shoot for her and we all had a great time. It was fun and I just loved Jenny's attitude and professionalism. After the shoot she volunteered to talk to Nansi so JC can organize a shoot for her. As luck would have it, Nansi agreed to an organized shoot. As she has been one of the models I've always wanted to work with, I was naturally excited to work with her. I was expecting someone a bit snobbish, or worst a pain in the behind, but to my surprise she was like a breeze of fresh air. Very funny and very talkative, I just love chatting with her. I do hope we get another chance to organize a shoot for Nansi, I really enjoyed working with her, like I can't do no wrong shooting her. I wonder how much fun it would be if I get to shoot both Nansi and Sonya together. Should be a real riot, and I hope it happens one of these days! :) |
